Michigan is famous for its fuel mileage races, and Sunday’s race was no exception, with drivers pushing their fuel tanks to the limit for the final 48-lap stretch. Denny Hamlin excelled at hitting his fuel numbers and ultimately overtook the leaders, leading to a competitive battle for the race lead with William Byron. Hamlin managed to secure the victory, marking his third win of the year and 57th career win, matching Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson’s win count. The race saw Ty Gibbs finish third, Bubba Wallace fourth, and Kyle Larson fifth, with Chris Buescher coming in second. The intense race featured numerous lead changes and a nonstop action-packed atmosphere, culminating in Hamlin’s triumph after a challenging fight to the front.
